My moms 91 crx hf has a gas smell inside. Think this happend within the past week. You can smell it with the car off so it dont matter if your driving or not. Its completely stock with about 180,000 miles on it. I was gonna check the fuel filter. Maybe the catalayic converter cause that gives off a smell to when theyre clogged right? Anymore ideas? thx in advance

 

Mine was doing this last week. Turned out the old *** fuel hose weak, swelled and was leaking at the fuel filter under the hood. I cut off the bad part and replaced the filter at the same time. No more leak after that.
