Default 1.8L ls vtec

I just got my LS vtec tuned and everything

B16 head
ferrea valve tran
S2 intake manifold
stock injectors and TB
buddy club spec 3s
S2 cam gears
stock 3 layer headgasket
cold air intake
MSD cap and coil

B18A1 block
stock ls rods with arp rod bolts
stock ls crank balanced
USDM type R pistons honda rings

DC sports header 2"
2.25 inch exhaust with omni power test pipe

i went to get it tuned today and it made 195WHP@ 8600RPM and 135FT-lbs of torque @ 6200RPM

not bad for a small exhaust i really wanted 200WHP but I am happy with this.

tell me what you think?

wow thats great. with a 65mm Throttle body and a 2layer headgasket you could have easily hit 200. nice work, what did you tune with?

I think you're seriously limiting the breathing of the engine w/ that header and exhaust.

I'd say a good header/exhaust combo would get you around 5-10 whp...at least.

Also, if it were me, I'd go with a 100% STOCK ignition setup. Honda ignition is HARD to beat. I've actually known of people to pick some power up by going back to stock!

Could sit here and nitpick and say this and that would get a little HP here and there. But it looks like it's a good little engine. Good job on the build!

Other than that, Man....I'd bet the setup is fun to drive.

Oh boy it is goes i had a stock B16 that came from the factory and that poor old dude had 242,000 miles on it...lol it was not breathing to good...lol but yeah i think i can make 200 HP with a good header and 2.5 inch exhaust i just like how the MSD looks thats all i did not notice any power from that...lol

Farmer what was it that went wrong w/ the last setup?

Looks like you got a good thing going here.
Also must be nice to know a few easy changes would take it even further!

overall i need to suck it up lol. i was about the 3rd car on their dyno so it may not have been 100% yet.

ill be back down there next month with the new setup tho. then i really know whats goin on i really wanna stick with my header because of the zero cross over dip...makes me really like the 4-1 instead of 4-2-1

nice numbers tho.
