Just curious on what generation Honda Accord body style do people prefer from the options given?

 

CB3 all day.It was so ahead of it's time for a foreign car in those years.

It was a close choice between the 90-93 and the 98-02.

I like both but hate the way the 94-97 and 03-07 look. I tend to like the square body styles of the Accord over the more rounded version

I think the 94-97 has the best body look. The 90-93 looks too old, and the 98-2002 is to big IMO but I love all 3

Same here. My wife's 94 still looks good. The 98-02 look too wide, or something about the proportions are off. The 90-93 is finally looking dated to me.

 

I like the 90-03 aftermarket support and popular H22 swaps in those

94-97 interior is a little dull, IMO. Best year of Honda/Acura vtec though.. (94)

I have a 98-02 so that's my vote. Got to love the coupe body lines.

My favorite body style of the accord is the 94-95 coupe because they dont have the awkward looking tail-lights, and of course the current generation coupe, it looks hot.

 

I'm partial to the 94-97 simply because thats what I drive. but modify it to have 94-95 grill with 96-97 hood...clean

but I also like the 98-02 SEDAN, I think the coupe looks terrible. I think its those years, that have the "triangle"d tail lights that mimic the NSX's.

 

Agree. The 98-02 coupe are horrible looking. The sedan is okay, but I just don't care for them. 94-97 accord are the best to me. That's why I got one. Prefer the 94-95 over 96-97 simply because the tail lights don't look like oversized civic tails.

 

sorry 94-97 CD7 has the best body lines. front of a 96-97 with rear of the 94-95 with the single taillights would be ideal if i went straight OEM in my opinion.

coming in second is 90-93, when done right kinda has that big body feel

i just think that the body lines in contrast to the headlights and taillights just flow well in those 2 gens. other gens just don't flow right or have to sharp of lines in certain spots. like the 98-02 models are nice but the rear ends on them just don't flow with the rest of the car. but this is just my opinion

so if i had to rank i would say
1st 94-97
2nd 90-93
3rd 98-02
4th 86-89

I like the CB7 first. The 94-95 would be the second place in my opinion. They both look great from due to a very different body styling.

 

The 2nd gen is great, the 3rd gen is great too, It was a hard choice. I have had all of them BTW, the 1st gen is pretty cool is froglights are removed and replaced with 05 corvette lights, yes you read that right corvette lights in front, they are PURrrfect and look like a integra of the 3rd gen a little but have a shape (slightly more rounded) that is perfect. So its a nice looking car, the rear looks fine on all, but the 3rd gen loooks a little gay or girlish... Like the prelude. Thanks for the polls.

 

i also would have to agree with the 94-97 body! i've owned 2 of them now and my favorite part about them is how the rear flares out!

 

I like the CD chassis. At first didn't like the 96-97 tails (had a 95) but not with the amber cleared (in my 97) they remind me of a Lincoln LS. The CB chassis is too square for my liking. I like the shape of the CD and it still looks good today if you take care of it. I do like the 98-01 coupe, but as a whole the 5th takes the cake. I guess since I have had 2 5th gens, I must like them.

 

i own a 98 accord 4 door, but i LOVE the CD wagons !

 

The 98-02 coupes are the worst looking those things look like boats IMO

 

My first car was an 89 LX-i coupe. I loved that car, too bad it was falling apart
