Default Help again puzziling ef9

hey guys please help asap, heres the problem now my ef is running pretty good besides the fact that it smoke jus a lil bit when i punch it lol, but when it gets hot it overflows the OVERFLOW tank and spills everywhere ive changed the thermostat flushed the radiator put new coolant in but still over flowing WHY???!thanks!

blown headgasket? do a cylinder leakdown test and see if you get bubbles coming out through the radiator. you could also have your coolant tested for the presence of hydrocarbons.

ok kool man thanks the crazy thing is that it runs great and theres no water in the oil??? But there is some bubling after i drive it a while do you think theres a chance that the overflow tank cap is bad because it seems to be shooting out of the top of the cap plus only sometimes the fluid in the overflow tank goes back into the radiator SOMETIMES? its really akward also has a new radiator cap too!?

I think that when the engine is running at a reasonable temp it sends the overflow into the overflow tank. then when the engine runs abit warmer then ususal, it sucks it back into the radiator for that extra cooling need. if it overflows and theres a crack in the cap then the pressure from the radiator will make it come out since it has somewhere to go other than back in the radiator.. try and find a new over flow tank and see what happens. just my 2 cents.
