Default Should the Turbo Spin Freely?

I currently don't have my t3/t4 on my car, and I was just curious of how easy it should be to spin a turbo thats not connected? Should you be able to twist it with your fingers and spin for awhile freely? Or should it be more stiff to turn?

My turbo was used for about 1k miles.

Well mine I can twist but if I try to spin it will just stop as soon as I let it go. Should I be worried?

Sound fine. Once it have oil going through the turbo it'll spin more freely.
