Default what to do for engine managment on turbo h22?

I have a job coming up to fab a turbo kit on a '99 Prelude. I want to avoid the FMU, and Missing Link configuration. So what are my options? can the ecu be flashed/chipped? The guy of course doesn't want to spend gobs of money, so what can be done cheaply? I'de love to put Hondata s300 on it but he ain't gonna go for that. Oh yeah, its gonna stay low boost (5-7lbs). Help please.

Free management??? Crome Pro (I made 620-30 WHP without issue on it for 2 years)

Gangster Management??? eCtune. ***** really nice, got a friend of mine to sell his S300 garbage as soon as he saw the eCtune.

you can get ectune, the licence, the emulater and datalogger for under 400 bux.

I really really like it

S300 fails compared to eCtune.... Boost controll for one... eCtune is so much more robust its not even funny... But to each ther own.

S300 or any other management has its pros and cons, hence the reason people have preferences for it. Boost control is simply one feature that both have, its a matter of access. Personally I don't like ECU managed boost control..but like you said, to each his own.

The prelude will need a P13 or P72 OBD1, since he has secondary runners like a GS-R, for best results

If the IABs are stripped or simply disconnected (or an aftermarket/euro-r amnifold are being used) it wont matter.... otherwise yes gonna need a P72 if youre going to chip it since you cant use a p13

Shodan:

I shared your opinion about EMS managed EBCs ubtill I got eCtune. I had an AVCR that I LOVED, but eCtunes EBC setup is ****ing AWESOME... You should check it out if you havent yet. I actually sold my trusty AVCR I was so happy with it. I sold the AVCR back to my friend who has a S300 and hated its flakey *** boost controller
