Icon2 Carbon Fiber Fenders

Has anyone bought the ones off of ebay for our EF's? I think they'd look tight but i haven't seen any pictures of an EF with them. If you have them post pics, i am interested in seeing them on the car before i get them. Or if i get them am i gunna be the first one in the world to get them??

you wont be the first but make sure you get it from somewhere good because some cheap carbon will turn yellow after a few months

Are you trying to save weight? cause a stock metal fender weighs next to nothing.

For real, a light breeze could even pick them up.

i'm pretty sure a good-looking carbon fender would weigh more than a factory fender...

all the resin in that wet carbon adds up

IMO not worth it...ask anyone who's had a tire blowout with fiberglass or CF fenders.

you saw those on e-bay recently too eh? id only do it for the cosmetic look of it, but id do a full CF front end, which will never happen.

short answer i wouldnt bother, unless its a show car.

For $600.00 they better be dry carbon fiber. Not wet. I would probably spend my money elsewhere. Just my .02

the fenders have nothing to do with wieght, if your buying CF fenders your doing it for looks not to gain that extra 20 horse from weight reduction lol.

If just doing it for looks, just take it to a shop and have them lay CF over your stock fenders. All the dumbsh!ts will think it real and uber tight.

5lbs seems like alot, i remember balancing a fender on one of my fingers with ease. My guess would be less then 2lbs.

How about try eating salads for a week? You can lose more than 5lbs and it won't cost your $600.

How did you come up with this? My OEM fender with mouldings and sidemarker still on it only weighed 4.5lbs on a calibrated digital scale, and according to seibon themselves their carbon fiber fenders weigh 7lbs each... This being the reason I didn't buy them...

Sweet San Fransisco Rice-a-Roni! Send me your $600 and I will have a CF vinyl sticker made for you. I make some money and you get the look you want.
