Default Your valued opinion...poll

I've been here a while now, and I've come to realize that most of you guys know more about Accords than anyone else. Therefore, I value your opinion as to whether or not I should give up my search for the Holy Grail of Accords (94-97 Wagon EX 5-spd) and just buy something new(er).

Here are the choices below.

Feel free to explain your decision.

Thanks.

Edit : I need a wagon to carry around my photo equipment

WRX man, inexpensive mods to get that thing running quick.

Unless of course you drop an h22 in the wagon...

Did they even make the Accord wagon in a 5speed?

Rarely.

I drove one earlier this year, but I couldn't buy it because I hadn't sold my car yet. The amount of room in the wagon is amazing.

My plans would include coilovers, swaybars and, lighter wheels.

Later on I would strongly consider an H22 transplant or Turbo...if I get the Accord

Accord Wagons look like a person that got hit in the face with a shovel.

Used WRX is my top choice, but if you're worried about the car being abused (and you should be ) then check out the Protoge 5 as well.

if money is an issue then definitely go with the new protege....it may not be the most powerful car but it sure can handle like a dream...i recently rode in one and was very impressed by the stiffness of the car with just new springs!...but that's just me, everyone else will say go with the scrubachu!

that also means each cv boot has 1/2 the wear, right? so it should last 2 times longer

WRX rocks. All Wheel Drive rocks. Warranties are a good thing too. Accord wagon...might have a higher probability of theft in the LA area...hard to find in the condition you want...not too many 5spd's or EX 5spd's sold...(just saw one in the LA Times though last week)

However, the wagon would be far cheaper...under 10k. If you can find one...
