Type R strut bar on 96 Civic

What bit size do I need to drill the holes?

3/8" In should work.

I thought an ITR front upper strut bar would just bolt into a 96-00 civic?

if you are putting ANY OEM honda strut bars on any NON SI EK, you HAVE to drill holes.
