Default is this fiberglass? need advice please

ok so i have a 91 civic hatch and when i bought the car, all the sidemoldings were shaved. the read quarter panels were bondo'd and looked terrible. on one of my doors, the whole side molding had been bondo'd. i chipped a big piece off and it was bondo'd all the way to the metal which kinda rusted. on both of my fenders where the side molding should be, it doesnt feel hard like bondo. it seem hallow. is this fiberglass?

so my question is, if it is fiberglass can i do anything about it so i can get the original side molding mounting area back or might as well purchase new fenders?

im planning to buy a new door and rear quarter panels im planning to chisel them off and rebondo with a friend.

any advice would be great thanks!

If it is fiberglass, it would be much more solid than bondo. Polyester fiberglass resin can break down, but only under extreme conditions. It sounds like it may be two part foam if it is soft and was used to build up a body kit.

With the price of used fenders, I would consider replacing them.

yeah the guy had a full body kit on it before so i guess you are right. i guess ill just buy some fenders. how much would used fenders go for?

also what should i do about my door? lol. i've never dealt with bondo before but all my friends told me it was bondo. when we chipped it off, it was like white-ish kinda and the texture was that of a rock. i'm guessing i should just replace that too huh?

thanks
