That's weird. I know that only coupes had the amber ring around the drl/hb. Was your car involved in an accident claiming the front end? Whatever shop may have salvaged the left headlight from somewhere. Just my guess.

I've never noticed the amber ring. I feel as though I do not have it.

If you bought it new (and have never replaced the front end/headlight) you have them .

the car came with a car proof report. its certified by honda. i looked at 08 coupes and there is no amber ring..the one with out the amber ring is the one that has condensation on the inside. the bumper to bumper warrany expiried before i got the car so the warrany i have does not cover the head light. i like the one with the amber ring.

'06-'08 Si has the amber ring, at least for the coupe.

Solution: Send headlights out to customlightz.com and get a set of H.I.D.s

Now wait a minute. The accident was just a suggestion, the light could have been replaced by the previous owner. I didn't mean to alarm you. There could be a myriad of other reasons for the mismatched headlights. No matter what you decide to do, good luck.

i don't think being certified by honda means that it was never in an accident. i'm guesing carproof is the canadian version of carfax? i know that carfax doesn't always show accidents, even ones that have been reported to the insurance company. does the left headight say 'honda' on it? it could be an aftermarket replacement.

if the car was wrecked it might have some kind of warranty on the repairs, you should try looking into that.

That's a good idea. I don't know how much a pair of oem headlights will cost from Honda, but if it is feasible, just send them out have customlightz match them up, while you're at it have some projectors retrofitted to the units.

Previous owner could have attempted their own retro-fit, ruined the driver side and replaced it with a non-si headlight. LOL.

But seriously, like K5^ said, there could be many explanations as to why that headlight is different.

Unless they stopped for 2008 models, FA's do NOT have the amber rings, as I mentioned earlier.

Only Si Coupes have the amber rings around the high beam. The headlight could have been replaced for any reason, not necessarily and accident.

Condensation means the prvious owner tried clearing his headlights but failed miserably so he did a bad job on resealing his headlight and left out the amber rings.

Look on the headlights and actually see if they say Honda on them. It will be on the bottom of the headlight. Aftermarket coupe headlights leak and fog
