Hey guys, i was just informed that hondaprelude.com has shut down due to reasons listed on www.hondaprelude.com . I have learned a lot from this site from the articles as well as sold MANY things through its ad pages. I know you guys out there also have used this page. The owner is in debt now due to 3.5 years of helping us ALL out with his website, i think the least thing we can do is pitch in a few bucks a person to help him out. 5 or 10 dollars isnt a lot, but add it up among 50+ people and it will start paying off his debt that got himself into for US. Let me know what you guys think. Remember, what comes around goes around...

Chris, do you have anymore t-shirts, i want some shirts, and i know that the t-shirt sales DID help at one time. i'll buy 3 or 4 + i would be more than willing to donate more money to help you out.

 

We still have shirts and stickers. You might want to drop an email to sales@hondaprelude.com to make sure we have the size and style you want though before making a payment. Donations are very much appreciated and can be made to sales@hondaprelude.com (same goes for sticker/shirt payments). I am blown away right now by the email response closing the site has generated.

 

I'd rather you be blown away by an increase in your paypal account...

ok, and this site doesnt have ANY rice on it? Just because not everyone likes a stock *** car on black 15" rims doesnt make a site rice. The info on h-t is more plentiful, i agree. But hondaprelude.com did help out every once in a while, especially the ads section kicked *** because i could find PRELUDE stuff instead of things all mixed up and unassorted like it is on this site (no offense, i love h-t) . Chris, i dont have an addy i can send a check to or something? Lets try to get something guys so we can help chris out, and im not talking about like 5 or 10 people.

I personally think the site had useful information. I don't think you can find a site where you can actually go to a section to find dyno numbers or 1/4 mile times without doing a search. HP.com had that info in one area. It also hosted pretty much everyone who had prelude pictures. A lot of people put HP.com as there link for there car's picture. Im sorry that it went down, I will miss it; especially going to the local forums.

I just sent a donation as well. I'm sure that many users have received at least $5 of benefit from his site, whether in selling things, help with saving money on repairs or good prices on parts, or even just entertainment... It's not right that he be in debt for all of us.

 

Ok guys, I got that straightened that up with chrisb. And I as I told him I just thought that the majority of the people on the site had and I hate to use the word...."rice". I was in no way stating that the site its self was rice in nature just the majority of car there.

yeah and now preludeonline.com has become a freakin paysite coz they're expecting a huge burst in membership from everyone from hp.com registering on po.com. this is a mess.
