Ek REar Ended.. Is it worth fixing???
ok was driving yesterday goin about 40. while in motion some drunk guy rear ended me. what kinda luck is that. one of buddy who does autobody says its atleast 2500 worth of damage.
is it worth the fix??
oh yea the bad thing is my car has salvage title. so i aint get jack **** off this probably, and i done put a lot of money and work into this car...
i was thinking bout buying another ek and swap everything over and use this car as a beater. not really sure..
any input on what i should do, or what should i be expecting(like how bad im screwed) or maybe not..

The guy who hit you, is he cover anything ? definilty his fault for hitting from behind plus being drunk I would think he would cover your costs hand down.
Looks like there was good impact in the rear.
See how much hes going to cover, but best would probably buy another shell and swap parts over and ditch that car.

Time to pull all the parts and buy another EK shell or something. Even if the person who hit you was covering your repair cost's, I would never feel good knowing the car was wrecked and put back together.

Yes im leading towards buying another Ek to swap everything over. this freakin sucks... just dont think i can get that much money out of it so might pay a little extra to have a decent looking car again =(
I think you'll be very suprised what they'll offer as a settlement. I got $2400(cdn) for my 95 hatch. It was rusted beyond belief and it had over 250,000km on it.
When they offer you a settlement, I advise you immediately offer a very small buy back offer. Offer them $500 for your old car. 99% of the time they'll take the offer just because it's a pain in the *** for them to organize all the logistics of getting it. Maybe even try $400.
