any CIGARETTE smokers trying to quit or cut back? (hookah related)
The economy is hitting hard and i see how the COST of cigarettes, not to mention the obvious risk factors, are effecting my co-workers and locals. maybe this is GDD material but Stockton to South Sac is where i travel and see the effects. how are you cutting back? nicotine gum, patches, project cars, more smoking perhaps? that's what i tried! Hookah ftw!
check out these mouth watering flavors and tell me these don't sound better than an average pack of smoke.
irish coffee
watermelon
guava
winterfresh
vanilla
apples upon apples
white peach
pumpkin pie
blueberry!
okay, getting carried away here.
anyways, i know the bars have been out for a while now and this is definitely not a new thing. i myself bought my first hookah in late 2006 but never was that interested to spend a few more bucks on other flavors or brand. it wasn't until 07 that i realized i stopped smoking cigarettes because of this. so i figure i might as well stop smoking all together. so i did. a few months ago i bought myself an even bigger based hookah and have been buying loads of shisha (flavored tobacco). i've smoked Al Fahker (funny name), Romman, Starr Buzz, Tangiers and Fumari and i calculated my spendings and smoke time i have at least a years worth and it no where equates to the cost of smoking cigarettes. anyways, hopefully there are locals into this.

drugs are bad mmmmmmmkay. khmersouljah, that's not surprising. most cambodians either chew maloo or smoke cigarettes for life or steers completely away from anything like that.

Maloo, hahah hella nasty. My grandma chews that stuff. One time she had all of her spit in this Pringles can and I opened it up and looked inside.
Luckily I didn't reach in there.

lol. that's disgusting. it doesn't even smell right. that's one of the main reasons why i steered away from cigars, cigarettes, chew. it just all made me feel the need to brush my teeth even more than i already am. when i first smoked my fumari lemon mint, it was like a dentyne ice commercial, lol.

yeah, i enjoy cleaning it though. if you add milk to the base, it really smoothens out the smoke. but after using milk, you definitely have to have to clean it thoroughly.
im still smoking, since 15,now 25 not something im proud of; not something im ashamed of. the price is certainly weighing on my decision to keep smoking cigarettes or not
is it really? each bowl i pack contains less tobacco than rolling a cigarette and that lasts me 45 minutes shared with 1-3 people and an hour by myself. i know that the water filtration isn't that great although better than any filter created for the cigarettes i just don't see how that's possible. the only way i'd question that is if the bowl i packed was huge and super packed....even if that it still doesn't compare.
actually, there is nicotine naturally in tobacco. tobacco in cigarettes, however, is jam packed with nicotine. certain brands of shisha actually has more nicotine in it and are usually smoked for that reason. there's even certain brands like Tangiers contains caffeine! but the prep to use tangiers is a pain.
