Need to know if a garrett gt5533rwil fit
Im kinda new to the whole boosted scene and im planning on boosting my ls vtec crx and I found this Garrett T6 flanged GT5533R turbo. its the largest turbo garrett makes and i know i would have to build the sh*t outta my motor. Anyways Id appreciate it if anyone could let me know if installing this turbo is even possible. I know it would be insanely fast.
man I wish we had a  smiley.
On the other hand: Food for thought. The fastest sfwd/outlaw car in the country is running a 72mm turbo. Why do YOU need a 94mm turbo? It would be hard enough to fit a 72mm in there

Totally... insane... Borderline retarded
If it was that easy then everyone here would have just got the biggest turbo they make. Plain and simple.
Do you even have a Hp goal in mind?

This has gotta be a joke, right???
Well, then again, maybe it isnt.
OP, that turbo is WAYYY to big for our 1.6 to 2.0L engines. If you rev it today, it'll probably spool like...tomorrow sometime. ;-) If you do your research before making a thread like this, then you wouldnt get such vague answers. The SEARCH button is your friend, homie.

damn all yall are hatin for no reason at all, I said i was new to the boosted scene did i not and this is a forum to find out whats right and whats wrong about forced induction is it not. Im tryin to be fast as fu** straight and simple so of course i am gonna start with the biggest turbo and go lower. why wouldnt i. If yall aint on here tryin to tell me there is someone just as crazy as me that can actually do the work then dont say nothin as of right now i have my mind set on that turbo n if it dont work then ill get a smaller one.

U need to read and then read some more, but first you have to get a GOAL. Will it work. Sure. Could anything smaller than a big v6 ever hope to spool that turbo? I dont think so tim
well theres a guy where i live that has a k24/k20 boosted with almost 750hp. I wanna be faster than that guy so im tryin to hit like 950 cuz there are a couple evos with almost 800 so 950hp would be nice.
Edit: ok. So a turbo is capable of 1500hp. That means it could seriously outflow the requirements of your engine and prob never have enough exhaust pushed through it to make it attempt to spool. The only way to pick a turbo is to size it accordingly to your engine requirements and the compressor map of the turbo. The maps are there for a reason
, cant boost it tho, its gonna be my dd here soon
dude with all do respect, you guys have already pretty much discouraged me from getting that turbo but years to source parts, thats just stupid, it aint that hard to call je import cft king motorsports and tell them that you want a ls vtec built to withstand whatever. So you may know more than me about turbos but on that i will disagree with you
