rotor help needed badly!!
we are currently in the process of change my friends 94 accord brake rotors but are stop by a road block...
we cant get the spindle nut off.
we already broke a pretty thick breaker bar and the impact is not doing any good. we have heated it up not for a crazy long time but for a while anyways and been spraying pb blaster on it but the dang nut wont budge at all

need help asap the car is on jack stand right now
any help or techniques??

use a long pipe extension on the breaker bar. Some pipe over 4 feet should make it a lot easier to remove this nut. I usually place a flat head screw driver in the rotor to stop it from moving and then I loosen it. Works for me every time I do it and doesn't take long at all.
wow 4 feet!!! lol well i mean we used a pipe not no 4 feet though! but i mean its not gonna make much differemce cause the breaker bar still broke.. plus a impact didnt even work.
i mean i can see how that helps i always use a pipe too but i dont know if its gonna work in this case

get a craftsman breaker bar so you can replace it FO FREE, and use the pipe / screw driver trick w/ PB blaster until it comes free. Can be a bitch, but I've never had to cut one off.
haha it was craftsman and we got a new one already lol. right now i gotta do moral support he is about to give up

LOL!! The longer it is the more leverage you have, thus making it a lot easier to apply more force due to more leverage. I'm just trying to help you, but you don't have to take my advice.
I've removed too many axle nuts in my time, I'm not new to this.
oh no i deffent understand and believe that would work in most case its just the bar as already given out.
really i want to try it but hes not up for it right now!
if this was my car i would of tryed it by now i dont like giving up like he is
when you guys heat it up do you make it glow red or not?
