D16z6 build, need advice!
I have a 93 del Sol Si, D16z6, with an Injen intake, DC header, Accel ignition coil, Walbro 255 fuel pump, and a slightly milled head. It still has the stock exhaust with a gutted cat. I screwed up with a turbo build and didn't factor in some of the necessary parts with my budget. Let that be a lesson to everyone else, do your research!!!
anyway, i want to sell this car this summer and i don't want to do an engine swap. So, what else can i do to squeeze out some more power and keep it a fun daily driver? I have some money tied into it's appearance, like a front lip and an ameripol top, along with some interior stuff.
I've researched some stuff about the pistons, and i found out that most 1.5-1.6 liter factory pistons fit into this motor. So, can anyone suggest some good ones that raise compression to a worthwhile amount? also, i'm gonna need a cam. can anyone suggest a good cam that doesn't need a valvetrain upgrade? i don't want a cam that requires a higher rev-limit to make decent power. I also don't want to compromise these puny little connecting rods with tensile stress.
any other little mods that i don't have that would be good?
also, nobody waste my time with suggestions to swap or turbocharge this motor. I've researched both, and i don't want to consider any of these options.

your car isnt super light, swapping pistons for more compression and a cam wont give you much more power, you wont be able to go past 13:1 on 94 octane if its sold in your area.
cheapest and quickest way to add a little power, what about nitrous? and if you are selling this car in the summer you can remove it all easily and swap it into your next car, so you arent really throwing money away.
my 2c

I am considering nitrous, i just want to pursue an engine rebuild because i don't think that my compression numbers are going to be that good. I was seeing blue smoke before my fuel pump, so i do want to rebuild. also, that will increase the value of my car.
so, any pistons recommended? i want it to have a little bit of ******* before i hit the switch. also, any nitrous friendly cam advised?
