New Fuel Injector installation..?
I am puttin in new fuel injectors and im fairly confused as how this is done. Around the injectors there is a lot of stuff... im fairly engine savvy but i would just like to know just how this is done correctly on my vehicle. Would i be correct that i have to unfasten the bolts that suppor the fuel rail and remove it? Also the injectors i am putting in are the Accel 255cc and dont come new O-ring seals. Could i reuse my old ones? or can i pick up the new rings for a few bucks at honda?
Hello,
First thing first, you have to relieve the fuel pressure at the rails or you will have fuel everywhere.
second removing the fuel injectors requires disturbing seals that are the originals and you should simply replace them with new ones from Honda or if you can buy ones from the same company you got the injectors from, that would be good too as it allows you to have seals made to be used with those injectors
Cheers

-relieve the fuel pressure
-remove the fuel line and vacuum hoses attached to the fuel rail
-removed the fuel injector electrical connectors(there should be a little snap holder on each one. just lift them out of the way with a flat head screwdriver and they should come right out.
-remove the bolts holding the fuel injector wires to the fuel rail
-remove the nuts holding the fuel rail to the intake manifold
-then you can change the injectors and put it all back together
