91 Accord EXR fuel leak.
I just bought this car for $400. Not a spot of rust under except for one fuel line. It was literally spraying fuel while running.
The leak is behind the rear driver's side tire where there is a connection (coupling) that is bolted to the frame by itself.
I cut this out totally and bypassed it as such:
engine <----fuel line covered with plastic----- ==added rubber efi line== ----added brake line---- ====existing rubber to tank.
I double clamped all three joints with 2 clamps each (EFI clamps). It leaked BAD. Covered with 3 normal clamps, almost stopped but still drip while running.
How do I fix this?
I flared all metal joints.
