Don't put a muffler on that car. It will never be fast, it will never sound classy and it will never get you any attention other than from the police.

Seriously. You'll thank yourself later.

If you insist on going through with making your slow, stock car a loud, obnoxious piece of ****, yes - you can take the muffler to a tuner shop and they can weld it onto your stock piping. That way, your car will gain absolutely no power and be about 80% louder, thus provoking everyone else on the road to point and laugh at the kid in his graduation present who wasn't smart enough to leave it stock.

So you bought a muffler with exactly zero clue on how you were going to install it? What if they didn't install it for you? Then what? You just wasted your money.

Why didn't you just buy an entire exhaust system with the muffler you wanted included?

And yes - you can spend money to buy a full exhaust system and have them use the muffler you already own. It's a huge waste of money, but you can do it.

Why am I being helpful and nice to this ricer? What the **** is wrong with me? Oh yeah - my seven-month-old slept from 8 o'clock to 8 o'clock last night without making a ****ing peep. Thank you< Andrew. Daddy loves you

That muffler A.) looks like **** and B.) will sound like ****.

Get an APEXi N1 exhaust system for your car if that's what you want.

I seriously feel that autoshops in high schools should explain a bit more of the technical side of things such as how important a properly setup exhaust system plays on a combustion engine.

I laugh my *** off at all these people who throw these random/large exhaust systems expecting to get these amazing gains out of them, where as they just completely screwed what power band they had, and spent a lot of money doing it.

OP leave your car alone.

I had an $89 Megan Racing N1 muffler with custom 2.5" piping from the cat back. I loved it I didn't feel the need to spend $600 on an exhaust at 19 years of age.

Of course my Civic was on 8 pounds of boost so I could laugh at people like OP as I pulled away from them.

Don't get that muffler, leave your nice car nice. But an older Honda if you want to fix it up.
