Schedules For Grip Night Tuesdays at Adams Track Riverside!
Hey guys, this is Dennis with some update about Adams Grip night in Riverside.
- The next event will be tomorrow March 31st. Sorry for the late thread post. It will still be $20 for each session from 5:30-9:30pm. Please have our Technicians check your vehicle at least 30min before each session. This time, your times will be given to you. Everything should go more smoothly since we will have everything organized.
- We will be throwing the event every Tuesday from this point on, so come on out.
- Saturday April 11, 2009 will be practice runs from 8am-12pm for $50. This price is just for that Saturday for the 4 hour runs. We will only be accepting 50 cars that day to reduce the crowd (sorry). So come out there early! Technician checks will start @ 7am.

I know some of you that haven't been there yet may think its too small of a track, but once your on it, its alot bigger than you think. The drivers from the last event we're surprised as well! Come out and have some fun.
P.S. There will be more videos up soon!

Good luck and all, but does anyone else find it annoying that actual racing is referred to as "grip racing". Out of all of the ricer buzzwords, that one really gets under my skin.
They gettin' ready to plow that place under and build something else? I can't imagine the kart racers are very happy with full-sized cars tearing up their asphalt. Unless they figure it's not going to be around much longer...
This sounds interesting since its local. I have a question though, i only see one car at a time so I am assuming it's auto-x style, is this correct? Also it says 20 per session, how many laps or run time is each session?
I dunno, it might be more fun to run a kart than a car. It looks like autocross, nothing wrong with autocross just no wide open speed involved.
might be fun..just need to go do it i guess..
