Default battery drain problem

okay... 94 integra ls

i was driving with my buddy coming back home from a 1 1/2 hr drive when i smelt some weird wire burning.. didn't think much of it since it went away within 5-10 mins. so i get home and sat around for 3-4 hours and went out. everything was still fine. finally towards the end of the day i bring it to the garage and bout ready to close the garage when my gf n i hear this weird blowing noise. open the door and my heater was still on. thats odd. and with the keys out too. didn't know what the prob was but i just turned it off. next morning battery is dead. jumped it, went to work and pulled the heater fuse out. still, it died within a few hours

so i went over to my friends house and realized the smell was coming from under the driver/fuse area. we couldn't locate exactly where the burnt wires were at. we took the complete fuse box along with a few other connectors plus alarm out and still nothing. notice that the push buttons for defrost/leg/face was on too. i tried to trace the wires to where they went to, which they all went over to the glove box to the ecu. but there was nothing going over to the driverside fuse. so my question is, is there anything over at that side where it connects to the heater switches and power?
