Your buddy probably has no idea that the Prelude B20 is completely different from the Civic/Integra/CR-V B20. Tell him he needs to go re-educate himself if he is going to work at an auto parts store :p
he said what if he wasnt sure thats why i was asking. but the sad part is i know a guy who use to work for honda as a 'certified' honda mech. and he it would work... but i think im gonna go with what u guys are saying here. ya'll seem more knowlageable... now what bout going to a SiR B18 more power but less displacement? But i might have line on GSR motor would i need to do customs mounts or would u say just strip and rebuild the motor. the shop i go to said they think they heard rod knock... (wtf is rod knock.)

rod knock is when there is so much play in the rod bearings due to a major amount of bearing wear and/or crank wear, that the rod literally knocks against the crank.
no a gsr head will not bolt to w b20a5 block without major major custom modification that only 3 people to my knowledge have ever performed. and the end result all 3 times was lots of oil leaks, loss of power, and engine damage.
and i replied in your other thread as well
an no disrespect to HT, but you should come over to preludepower.com. we are the largest website worldwide for 3g preludes. while HT is great for the majority of hondas, there are very few people on this site with wide knowledge of the b20a and b21a series motors
