Intank Walbro 255 to Inline Bosch 044 Fuel Pumps?
Have any of you used the 255 Walbro intake to Bosch inline 044 fuel pump? If so, what size lines were used and how was it wired? Where did you place the inline fuel pump? Please post pics of your bosch 044 inline fuel pump for this type of setup. Seeking over 700hp. Thanks.
I ditched my sump and put a walboro back in the tank to feed my 044 bosch. Ran a dash 6 out of the top of the tank to the bosch. Worked like a champ. No more pump starvation under braking or in turns.
i swear someone just created a thread asking the same question over the weekend where I gave him a link to the t1 site that jdm inc posted.

done a few of these, works great. set up is real straight forward. i took a few pictures of the last one i did, i'll try to find them.
I'd be scared to run the pump in line with a walbro, especially under the hood like that. What happens when/if the Walbro fails?
I was scared for the reasons you suggest but this is the setup Tony recommended for me since my sump was giving me problems. I would assume he has installed enough walboros and boschs to have faith neither will fail....
As a side note to those with this setup, did you trigger the relay for the 044 from the original fuel pump harness/ main relay or are you guys wiring the relay from just a key on power source? Just curious.
I too would like to know. Hopefully members using this setup may provide more pics.
