Type R trans???

I am tring to find out if any of the typr R trans bolt up to the 1st gen B16A1.
This is also Jap Spec, I don't know if this makes a difference or not.

It bolts right into the B16 with no midifications.
It will not bolt right in into your EF though.

The Type R trans will bolt up to the 1st gen b16. But yeah like he said it will not work in an EF. You need a cable trans for the EF, Type R is hydro.

Resident hydro-conversion guy here, It will not bolt up to the EF Chassis, you have to make a modified passenger side tranny mount, or modify a HCP one. It's a bit of work, but it nots too hard to put in the pedal, just a lot of parts to take out like the whole dash and such.

Or you can wait for the Hasport conversion kit that will be coming out this fall or winter, but I've heard some things about it.
