in the middle of doing my swap and ive started my wiring. i took the wiring harness off of the d15b2 motor and am starting to put it on the d16z6. i already know about converting the distributor and wiring the injectors. my main question is am i supposed to have some plugs left over from the d15b2 harness?

 

probably. obd's got more emissions(complicated) the higher up they got.(obdo=least; obd2b=most)

 

and obd1 doesnt use resistor box either. other than that i think you got it pretty covered.

 

well im using the obd0 harness from the d15b2 on the obd1 d16z6 and i just wasnt sure if i would have any left ove plugs on the obd0 harness. i got a plug on the rear of the engine harness that doesnt seem to go anywheres. its a rubber plug with two leads coming out of it i think the wires are yeallow and black.

 

okay i found out that the plug that in question is the coolant temp switch plug. is there a place for this to go the d16z6? sorry for the stupid questions
