i bought a 90 sedan lx yesterday, and was told that the only thing wrong with it was the clutch. it didn't have a battery so it wouldn't start, so this morning i went and bought a battery, and a clutch. i put the battery in and started the car........now to the issue--i can shift the car while the engine is running and it won't pull at all, could it be the clutch completely gone or is there another issue with it?----thanx in advance for the insight and help.

 

had one years ago do this, may be able to adjust the cable to get a little movement, but most likely clutch is GONE and will have to be replaced before you see anything!! just my .02.......

 

that's what i was thinkin, but my dad was tryin to argue with me, tellin me the tranny was screwed!
