Looking to get some info on some cleaning products for prep before my final prime and base!
i know that it has to be oil/wax free! any other info and names and the process, before the final sand than primer or before and after sand and primer...

i use ppg wax and grease remover.

 

Definitely wax and grease remover. I used a cheapo brand I got from the paint store on the last full-repaint I did and it came out great

I'm sure name brands would be even better.

 

i think i paid $16-23 a gallon. i forget. it was a long time ago and i bought 2 gallons and its lasted me. i used it for everything haha.

I used PPG wax/grease remover for my metal parts. Worked great, be sure you use something else for plastic parts.

 

909 waterbase cleaner from Rm.
