I'm trying to take out my dash in my 91 dx sedan.... i got all the wires and nonsense disconnected, I just can't get the entire assembly over the turn signal/wiper stalks. Am I doing something wrong or is there a trick to get it up and over the steering column? TIA guys.

 

Drop the steering column!

Four bolts and two nuts…

 

yeah just drop the steering column, makes life a whole lot easier

 

Ok, anything I should take care of when I drop it?

 

Did you make sure to remove the one ground wire thats connected to the dash, and bolted to the frame behind the dash? Its a black ground wire.
