Default P2W clearance!

Hello,

I have a oem style ctr piston set, spec is .010 - .040. What do you normally set your p2w clearances at for street driven, weekend race car?

I'm in the process of building the motor and I want to have all my numbers correct before i give the motor to the machine shop.

ctr pistons 81.5mm
gsr crank/rods
b16 head
toda vtec killer 295's.
oem head gasket

I use about 0.0005" per in of piston diameter or in this case 0.0016" P-W.

I have a Motec M400 ECU to accompany the cams.

Any competent auto machine shop can give you the specs your looking for with the bore size/p2w tolerance, even if they are more bias twoard domestics. I would be specific with them about the specs for the honing finish though as that is equally important.
