Default Paint on sound proofer?

I am looking for a paint on sound proofer for my crx. I tried a something suggested by my roommate with some tar stuff, and long story short it didnt all dry and I took most of it out with solvent. I want something I can paint over this stuff so it doesn''t look like ****. Thanks!

lol, like peterbuilt said, the other route is Rhino bedliner, GL with that though, gonna run you a couple cans plus wont deadner that much, best way is dynamat. bedliner is recommended in sub enclosure builds, but i dont know if you should use it for the entire trunk area of a car, but its ur car do it and tell us how it goes
