Default The real number for gearing ratio.

I did a search.
I'm looking for the real numbers on the J1/S1/Y1 JDM trans.
Or maybe from any one from Europe(Do they have the same trans number???)

I know,I've seen all those site,Tiite,honda swap,etc.
But some of them have some difference on some gearing.

If somebody could have the right number from a Honda manual JDM or EDM that could be very cool.

Help greatly appreciated.

When tiiite reconstructed their site, they lost accuracy for the JDM S1/J1 list, and other sites started to follow. I kept my old paperwork from the old tiiite, and some other site that is gone now.

Ratios for JDM S1/J1...

1st 3.230
2nd 2.105
3rd 1.458
4th 1.107
5th 0.848

Final 4.400

Note: JDM Y1 is the one with the 4.266 Final. It has a longer 1st, and shorter 5th than the JDM J1/S1.

my source disagrees:

<u>S1</u>
1st - 3.250
2nd - 2.052
3rd - 1.416
4th - 1.103
5th - 0.906
Reverse - 3.000
Final Reduction - 4.400

from http://b16a.honda-perf.org/care.html

this agrees with the Honda numbers at

http://www.honda.co.jp/HOT/ModelData.../3dxsi_sy.html

hope this helps...

@Tinkerbell

You are the MAN!

With numbers coming from Honda.jp,I must trust them!
I just started to upgraded and change the list I had before.

Thank you very much!
