I have an 04 accord which my tranny went out on. 64k miles and second gear is gone. I am looking for a tranny but wondering if anyone knows if an ep or bas model rsx tranny will work good in my accord.. Please help I need to know ASAP>>>

the stock accord motor. k24..

 

It will bolt up to the motor but the chassis mount is different. You can take your guts out and put it the accord tranny.

 

so swapping out the internals is the only way it will work. I just bought the tranny like 30 min ago. any diagrams on how to change my interla from one to another. That wouls help. Thanks

 

no, but i am looking for an ep3 tranny and i am located pretty close, if you can't get it to wrok hit me up.

you're asking becuase the 5 speed k20a3's go for cheap and are around everywhere becuase everyone who does the k swap opts for a 6 speed huh?

unfortunatley it won't bolt up stock, im sure you can makea bolt patern piece of plate adapter if you want to be ghetto about it.

then again im fairly cetain an accord VSS will not fit in your ep3 trans, meaning the speedo will not function. and there are no adapter harnesse as far as i know, accord's guage cluster is pretty complicated compared to all the other guage swaps.

 

i just picked it up cuz everyone was telling there the same but the gear ratio is different. The internals should swap right over but the mounting bracket is different..I f i dont end up using it ill let u know... I have a ktype r one i was going to use in the mean while but opted out cuz thats a waste.
