Default Ignition Switch

Alright, I am in need of a new ignition switch. At my local JYards all 10 of the 92-95 Civics does not have them. And Honda, Autozone does not sell them separately from the Ignition lock system. So I guess ordering just the Electrical Portion online will be my only solution.

Now my question is....Is the 96-00 Civics or 94-00 Integras electrical portion of the Ignition switch compatible with the 92-95 Civics?

They look smililar from the pictures on the websites.

TIA.

a lot of hondas/acuras are almost the same, the only difference is the length of the wiring pigtail coming off it, and sometimes the pinouts at the plugs are swapped around. but as far as the back piece of the ignition switch that screws onto the rest of the key switch (which by the way THANKS HONDA this design is why so many are ****in stolen ) they are the same. so go to the junkyard and just go through them.

So, did the 99 work for your 92-95?

I have an OEM ignition switch (96-00) if anyone else is in need of one. Brand new. $40 shipped to you.

Yes, I just had to switch out 2 wires on the small pigtail harness. Just use your old one as a reference.

Yes, it did. Its almost identical, just have to switch the wires around on the smaller pigtail harness. I got mine for $5 lol but $40 shipped is not bad, for 92-95 Civic owners. Considering they dont sell it seperate for us, which doesnt make sense.
