K-Pro conversion has been done. It involves a DC5 ECU and a lot of work.

As for twin clutch, is it really necessary?

Kpro will need to run a set of parralled ecu's, ang you stock will will only be a tender for the cars vitals, dash, codes , ect...with a twin disc, your asking for trouble, our trannys are far below par and cant really take the harsh engagenent from a twin, they can barely handle heavy duty setups.

Why is it that people are always asking the same question about friggin K Pro and Dual ECUs? And why do you feel you have to put a twin clutch in your Honda?

People are lazy and don't want to scroll down the damn page let alone perform a simple search.

seriously, twin clutch? Anything more than stage 2 is a waste and the spring pressure from a stage 3 will cause the master cylinder to blow out. I know, it happened to me twice!

as said above it can be done you need a special harness and you run a dual ecu rsx one for motor stock for instrument gauge. Search it on youtube one of the people to do it was tunersofspringfield(2nersofspringfield)

This is my setup up!! i got a k24 built with the Si head and a 60-1 turbo. I have AEM FIC and its ****... it wont go over 12 psi cause the mass air flow so im going to convert it to K-Pro. As far as the twin clutch i talked with competition clutch and that what they suggested for the set-up that i was going to run with 18 psi... hopefully 600+ whp. i hit 416 with 12 psi from the FIC so thats what im hoping for. she said for the most part you can still slip the twin clutch and that until i get slicks i will not need upgraded half shafts or tranny. im looking into a dog box but until i break something i feel it is not needed. but with the motor and the set-up im hopeing of 600+ i think it is needed... i got a shop that will convert the throttle body and the pedal assembly and that will do the whole conversion..

I have never seen a twin in an 8th gen but i have seen them used in some older model civics , but for track use only. I also have a few friends that use them in evo's and sti's. yhe civics i have seen use them are 8-10 sec drag cars with very modified tranny's in them as well, never seen one on a honda DD.

really no reason for a twin disc in these cars unless your puttin down some serious tq #s, the people that i know running them are all over 400 to the wheels.
