Default Purchasing car w/ cut harness.

Buying an HF w/ a cut wiring harness.

Fastest way to fix? buy new HF harness, splice / solder / heatshrink back together?

get a whole new harness and put that in the car. soldering new wires onto it will be a RPITA.

I figure pulling and replacing the harness will be more of a PITA.

all you need is one loose or cold solder connections and you'll be debugging forever.

i think the only way to go is with a new harness.

just my measely $0.02.

he's right man. if somethin' isn't right you'll be pullin' hair tryin' to find it.

i pulled the harness out of a crx si at a junkyard and put it in a STD for a si swap, it really wasn't that bad. and if you buy one from the dealer it will save you from having to get it out of the donar car.

just my .02 cents from experiance.

It was just cut at the ECU. has enough wire to work with.

How much would a new harness cost from the dealer?

when i called a few days ago. they priced it at 580.

edit: that was just for the engine harness. not the entire thing.

okay, don't get it at a dealer. find a wrecked si. if you find a crx, you'll have to repinn the clip that goes to the taillights and fuel pump.

i did it by trial and error, but if you decided to do it i'll give you the colors and where they go
