Door locking problem
I have a 93 accord and the doors are all going haywire on me. I can't lock the driver's door except by using my key on the outside at that door. You can't even press down the lock on the inside. (not to mention windows off track that need fixing.. 3 out of 4) How am I supposed to go about fixing this?

take the door panel off.
you can see a galvanized mild steel rail on both side of the window, make sure that is striaght. and make sure the rubber gasket did not seperate from the track.
if you have power locks the actuator needs to be replaced.
same thing happened to mine.

FYI: All hondas will not let you lock or unlock the drivers side door when the door is open.
unless you pull the handle and hold it while you push down on the lock.

I already know that from my husband's SI and the 2000 civic ex I had.I'm not your standard female.
It didn't used to do this though so it must have jammed somewhere but I don't understand why it would still lock at all if it was jammed. It's not like I haven't had to take a door panel off before, but I thought once you were married that's what husbands were for
No more changing your own oil or fixing windows that are off track, changing out headlights, oh wait.. I still do that for him lol There's a trick to his.
