Default Power Steering question

i have p.s in my car but i took the belt off and someone said i can break the rack like that then ill be screwed soo should i take the whole p.s assembly off or just put the belt back on or get a maneul rack

Put the belt back on and keep power steering for now. What you can do is take a hose and "close circut" the power steering rack, but I'm not sure how different the power and no power racks are for turning radias on the steering wheel.

I don't recommend taking a hose and making it closed circut, so I suggest you buy a manual rack if you don't want power steering.
