stick with stock, they'll probably perform better. save up for 1piece coilovers later on, itll be worth it.

stock does feel great.. but i wont be going to the track with my car.
I just want the eye candy look.I live in Florida..One piece suspension is not really needed out here..I also wanted to know if i plan on going sideways with the car would lowering springs be a burden??

I've heard good things about those springs. Don't get coil overs if you don't need them. Most are far poorer quality then the factory shocks!

I have Skunk2's and I cant complain. Ride quality isnt bad and the drop is perfect IMO. Thier worth the $150 you spend on them.

Don't do springs. Springs give only one option on the drop size and offer no room for adjustment. For a quality car like the S2K, install the quality parts. Go with a coilover. Yes, the price is much higher but a quality coilover offers height adjustment, allows you to get the perfect height your looking for to get the "candy" look, the ride is gaurrenteed smoother, and when you get to the point of wanting to slide the car(I wouldn't but oh well, I road race) you wont have to invest again in another setup and you can just fine tune the coilover for drift.

^^ i disagree - the stock shocks are good - i'm on Nuespeed springs with stock shocks - have been for over a year - love the ride, the look and the drop. When and if my shocks start to give, then i'll go coils more than likely. I'm not racing my S, but know enough about suspension setups to know that this does the job beautifully.
Having said that, if you want to blow well over a grand, then listen to the guy above.

Well, I like the finer suspension tune. I'm picky, I guess. Can't argue with that.

2 good points... it all depends on your cash flow and what the car will be doing...

My friend had Skunk2 springs and stock shocks. The car rode nicely and performed well. It was a good look, too.

I'm on Tein S.Tech's and Koni shocks and I'm pretty happy. The car is low, and the ride is nice. I can crank up the shocks for twisties, but then turn them down for the daily grind if I'm going to drive my car a lot around town.

I had skunk2s. Meh. It looked OK, but the drop wasn't even. Rode well, though.
