I want to run my buddy's jdm type r headers on my gsr... so i know i need a type r cat... but i need to know will it clear the oil pan and so forth and when i bolt up my exhaust which is a greddy exhaust for gsr will it bolt up to the back flange that comes off the cat or is the flange too big... and i need to know where to get a good cat from not too expensive and not too cheap...

It will clear, jdm itr is 2.5 I believe, so the cat has to be 2.5 as well. The Greddy should bolt right up, my stock one did.

You should have no problems with a jdm itr cat. It has a 2.5 inch inlet, good for the 2.5 inch collector from the header, and the outlet of the cat is 2.25 which should bolt up to a greddy exhaust.
