okay i have a 01 civic ex coupe, and i like to know what is worng with my car. the motor is shaking like a tank. what wolud be the reason. the car is fine when driving but when you stop or start the car the whole car is shaking. is it the motor mount or what???

 

It's not uncommon for the d17a2's to develop a worn motor mount.

 

will i took i close look at the motor mount. the front and the tran, side is out. i may need to change it but i'm not sure about the back and the right side motor.

 

Have someone get in your car. Set the e-brake, put car in gear and power break it. You stand outside under the hood with a flashlight, mirror or whatever else is necc to get a good look at all the mounts. There may be cracks and whatnot that you cannot see without torquing the engine.

 

okay so if the motor is shaking like crazy, then it should be to the motor mount, or something esl. like timing belt is off, or value need to read set.?
