Search sucks and did not help so maybe you guys can. I went to honda to order the CRV ac bracket for my '95 civic with a B-swap and they tell me there are 2 part numbers, 1 for auto and 1 for manual????? This is the first I've heard of this so can somebody please clear this up for me?

 

i would just get the manual one. i used the crv bracket as well on my b16 in a 95 ex. i dont know why there'd be a diff. but id just get manual.

 

could you tell me what number is for manual, i just dropped a B20 in my EJ1 after my gsr threw a rod, unfortunately the motor i got didnt have a flexplate, nor flywheel so i dont really know. i was thinking of cleaning the brackets surface up and shaving off the mounting taps and polishing the **** out of it.

 

I know for a fact that the auto works because that's the one I ordered. I can't see why it would make a difference at all though.

 

Sweet thats what I needed to know, thanks. I can't think why it would be different either seeing as how nobody has ever mentioned the issue before. I think Honda is just messing me up since they don't **** about interchangeability with their parts.

Looks like I'll just get the auto

 

remember to get the idler mechanism

or can you use the d series brakcet idler? someone help here
