this is the deal, i heated up my housings to paint inside the chrome area.
Some of the glue went all over outside the headlight where its visible. My friend decided to sand it down for me, but it didn't go back to clear(both head lights)

Was wondering what grid sand paper i needed, and what i need to do to make it 'new' again. thanks

 

1000 1500 2000 and buff it with some meguires plastic x i think its called.
Im about 30 percent sure im right
