hey my first car was stolen this morning @ 11:30am From Montgomery County Community College. looks to be professional. they had 15 mins to steal it. its a 96 honda civic 2 door dx. dark grey in color. vin is 1hgej6122TL.... the body is stock with black rota slip streams.
-blue cloth corbeau CR1 seats. with 4 pt harnesses
-Willwood big break setup in the front, stock rear drums
-5" monster tach in drivers lower corner.
-passport 8500 blue

car was found last night stripped. waiting for the detective to call me back. i'll get pix up asap car was found in NE philadelphia 14th district.

shes actually going str8 to the junkyard. i dont want to see her in pain. makes me cry :'( thanks for all the help on this forum throughout my babys 6 year life in my care. it was a kick *** ride. i will most likely leave the honda scene.. i'm grabbing an awd dsm shell and going 400+hp. im waiting for the damn philly detectives to do their f**king job and release it to me. it has 1 racing seat left. atleast i have that. hopefully theres no knife cuts in it.. i lost soo much in this tradgidy. my laptop, school books, gps with my home saved on it. motor wheels, brakes, 1000's upon 1000's of dollars. gone.. PROTECT UR RIDESSS.. put some sort of tracker in it.. find these FUC*ers. sorry i didn't help either. looked at lojack soo many times. but never got it.. my loss. :'( another honda to rest.

I was just wondering i see so many of these stolen threads do you get your cars appraised after you do major mods. For example with my car i payed 4k the kbb is 3k so that is what my insurance would give me if it got stolen i took it to an appraiser approved by my insurance, they appraised it at 6.5k. So what my insurance company said is give them a copy of the appraisal and keep a copy if it ever gets stolen or crashed i get 6.5k instead of 3k and my rates didn't go up at all. You guys might want to try it it only cost me 75 for the appraisal.

 

yes from my understanding that does work.. too bad for my i didn't have full coverage. so i get didly squat back.

Mastakmk, I feel your pain.. Same sh*t happened to me.
They were able to locate my stripped car the next day..
In some ghetto..

Not only did I have the thrilling experience of getting my life torn apart, the towing company wanted around 400 dollars to release my shell back to me.. and wanted an additional 100 to tow it to my place.. plus a day hold fee. a total of around 600, just to get something back that was stolen... so, thieves stole it, now the towing company is thieving me.. those guys are just as bad..

long story short..
I signed the pink over to that POS towing company... they auctioned it off for like 400..

I swear I saw someone drive it about a month later..

I went back to the honda scene though.. didn't have much option, with my current money situation.. but, now my car is much more secure..

In the long run, those same people will pay for their greed..
Your loss is a loss.. those people will receive the karma of your loss.. one day.. some day..
