Default JDM ZC Motor Identification..... as opposed to USDM DOHC phony

How do you identify the JDM ZC motor out of a JDM Civic Si as opposed to a USDM 88-89 Integra DOHC.

Do they look completely different? Does the 89 Acura have the same valve cover? I know the ZC valve cover bolts are on the edges.

anything else I should look for to be a TRUE JDM ZC motor? (stamped code perhaps)

Thanx... going to check out a few engines this weekend.

ZC will be stamped ZC and has a black valve cover.

Teg motor will be stamped D16A1 and has a brown valve cover.

um, depends on what year ZC. early year ZC's were brown tops, older were black. 86-89 integra motors have black valve covers.

on a late-model ZC, 87.5+ have the same mounts as a 88+ Si/DX motor..
