ok i have no compresion in 1,2,3. the block is rebuilt with 0 mils on it, as for the head i got it from some one and they said it was rebuilt, but this makes me thing that he was lieing, the head is a y8, i all so would like to know how hard is it to do the valve job on it, cuz im not going to pay 200+ to get that **** done....

 

Its very possible the head has bent valves, thats why u r not getting any compression.It is also possible that the valve lash is so tight that it isnt allowing the valves to close back all the way

 

can i fix this at all?

 

if its bent valves just put new valves in it. U can loosen all the valve adjusment screws then try doing another compression test to rule out the tight valves also

 

yeah i did all the valve adjustments already, so i think its there bent, can i do that my self?

 

^^if u have the right tools if not take it to a machine shop. U also might wanna check and see if your head and block are straight once u pull the head

 

what tools do i need?

 

Get a manual and it will tell u. If u dont even know what tools u need then u polly arent mechanically inclined to do it anyways. Take it to a machine shop with the new valbves and b done with it.
