Default JDM taillight conversion for civic si

im curious on how many pieces would you need to build a JDM type R tail light using a civic si (07-09). i know you need:
-Trunk
-tail lamps
-lower bumper

thats it right?

as long as your civic is a sedan then you are good to go. direct bolt on!

I thought you have to cut some holes or tabs (something to that effect) when installing the taillights. Good luck though.

drill holes for the mounting screws for the taillights and extend the reverse light harness

no need for the rear bumper. you do need some modifications for the tailights.

There's that issue. Is there also a fitment issue when trying to couple the ctr rear bumper with the usdm taillights?

i rather save up and do a front end conversion then worry about the rear jdm conversion..

you need to trim out the taillight part on the USDM bumper so the taillights can sit flush. The bumper will still stick out by the base of the taillights and it will look ugly up close.
