I need some parts

So your doing an h22 swap into a 92 prelude by the sounds of it? h22 ecu's are everywhere. Just grab up an odb1 p13 and away ya go. The harness is likely going to have to be found either from a car thats being stripped/been stripped down or new which is expensive. Why do you want an h23 engine harness though? I think you should explain your project and what you have, and we can tell you what else you need or don't need.
Hmm.. Okay just out of the blue, I just brought a 92 honda prelude also, and it supose to come with a f22 motor from what i heard, but i check the motor and its a h23a1? sorry but i have to admit i'm a noob at all this.... tell me what you guys think
okay so it has an H23 motor?? You essentially have 3 motor choices for the prelude
1. F22 (single overhead cam, no vtec, economical)
2.H23 (dual overhead cam, no vtec(in usdm form), great for boost, a lot to work with)
3.H22 (DOHC, Vtec, common motor swap into prelude)
which one are you trying to do? pick one, or tell us what you currently have and your expectations and we will advise. Be specific, don't worry about being knew. every single person on this thread was a noob at one point in time, ignore douchebag comments.

On a 92, you get a 2.2L base model, 2.3L Si and a 2.2L Si-VTEC. Horsepower is spread pretty evenly at 140, 160, and 180.
If you want to up the power, the 2.2L VTEC is the easiest. I just added a bit of bling to mine and put a stereo in. Any time you mess with a car majorly, it becomes a money pit. Just make it look nice and maybe something on the exhaust and stereo. You'll get the same number of girls as long as it isn't a tub and doesn't smell like a locker room on the inside.

Oh - for parts, I like www.rockauto.com and Ebay is good for parts - you just have to make sure they have the right part number.

Or even Si 4WS?
GOOD! Not to be mean in any way, but do tons of reading and research before you do anything.. Make a plan, research, modify, re-plan, research, and modify/re-plan again.. Trust me, it'll save you money in the long run..
OKAY. I have a 92 prelude SI. It has An H22 Out of an 01. But the computer is still from the 92. and The wiring harness is for a 01. So I need the ECU to match the motor. But the wiring harness to match the car. SO the check engine light will go off and So i can properly hook up the Vtec.
So you need an OBD1 P13. Auto or 5spd? -- Check the For Sale Thread, tons listed..
Why do you need the Wiring Harness? Is the current Harness not hooked up??
Was the car converted to OBD1 or kept OBD2?
If it's not wired correctly, just switching the harnesses isn't going to do anything (It's not going to remove the CEL)...

Thats what I was wondering about too.
