first off the car is 96 dx and its always been 5 speed

i bought it as a shell and put a rebuilt d15b7 obd1
i used the y7 dizzy and an auto y8 mani with obd2 injectors and alternator

im getting a few codes
code 14-IAC Valve (Idle Air Control)
code 20-Electrical Load Detector
code 41-Primary Oxygen Sensor - Heater
at the last one that is fukin with my head
code 74-cylinder 4 misfire

i switched parts from a running car and still nothing
i have two dizzy and before i pulled the plug to see if it was arcing and i got nothing now this new dizzy makes the 4th cylinder arc im getting fuel to all cylinders and i replaced the iacv and the code went away but now its back
everytime i did or replaced a part i restarted the ecu and unpluged the battery
im gettin a rev up and down like its surging i dont have the secondary o2 sensor hooked up yet but someone help me thanks

im getting code 41 too. since i just swaped engine and conveted to odb1(boomslang jumper) i checked my wiring. i replaced o2 sensor. still cant get rid of that code. looking for and answer and ran across this post.pls help

my a/f sensor was bad. re placed it and the code went away.

 

For code 20 and 41, read this TSB. The wire harness at the rear of the IM may be shorting out on the IM bracket.

For code 14, take the car to AutoZone to retrieve the code using an OBDII scan tool. There are three different IACV codes. This will help with troubleshooting. Could be a wiring problem or a vacuum leak.

For code 74, the problem could be the distributor bap, rotor, plug wire or plug. Next check whether injector #4 is clicking while the engine is idling and whether cylinder 4 has low compression.
