My car acts kinda funny. It will run fine and then once in a while it will start sputtering, but as soon as the check engine light pops on, the car runs like normal. After the car is shut off, the check engine light also stays off until the next time I am driving and it starts sputtering. I checked the code and it was 43. Could somebody please tell me what it means and if they have any ideas about specifics. Thanks a lot.

 

Well, a quick look at the FAQ shows that code 43 is "Fuel Supply System defective or malfunctioning fuel supply system". So it could be a problem with your fuel pump, injectors, or a dozen other things.
